Feeding the poor....

I was surfing and ran across a news bit about Andre Bauer who is running for governor in South Carolina. I sincerely hope he was just making a huge gaff but I suspect the man really feels this way. He likened helping the poor to"feeding stray animals" "if you feed them they will breed"

I am enraged by uncaring politicians. The culture of poverty is an extremely difficult issue! Oh, I've got to get ready for work so no time for soap-boxing now.
